It seems im getting used to losing everything. Yesterday my parents took my dog to the pound. She has been returned 3 times already by past owners. And I feel like I've abandoned her and never even got to say good bye. She was just like me. She cant help what size she is, or that she's interjetic, or that I made a promise i didnt keep. And now she's made ONE mistake and they take her away from me. I cant help but cry about the whole thing. But it turns out that no matter what she's going to get a new home. But im thinking that she remembers me and that she loves me as much as I cry. I sleep in my bed and wonder why she cant just sleep beside me like she used to. And that one time when she fell off and was too scared to get back up, I put a pillow down on the floor. She slept on that. She was right next to the vent. I put my jacket on her so she didnt get cold. Her hair is still on the carpet, i still have her jacket and the leash we used when adopting her. My dad wont even let me look at any of her pictures because he knows Im miserable. And then this morning when I woke up, I was hugging the jacket i layed on her. And then I saw her by my bed. And when I opened my eyes, she was gone. I know im never gonna see her again, and thats what makes me cry. I remember throwing her tennisball. Its still in the place she last carried it. Coming home from school isnt the same without shooing her to get back while i come through the door. I really miss her. When I first found out we were getting rid of her she licked my tears and made me stop crying. And in the car I heard the song "Super Girl" and I felt my most voulnerable. I hope that she knows that I was crying because I loved her.
